Pernod Ricard came to us with a brief that was three-fold: Communicate the values of one of their strategic prestige brands, Royal Salute; convey the brand’s strong connection to the game of polo via the Royal Salute World Polo platform and create global merchandising guidelines and marketing collateral for the launch of a limited edition product: The Polo Batch.
The key campaign message to relay was that Royal Salute and The Polo Batch celebrate the international footprint of polo and the values shared within the prestigious game - luxury, power, passion, skills and strength.
To accompany The Polo Batch launch, a global events programme in four key cities around the world was created; hosting an exclusive polo tournament in each one. Our task was to ensure that this programme was a key part of all marketing, along with the exclusive and pervasive game of polo.
We created a variety of marketing materials to accompany the new product launch, including the Global Travel Retail Merchandising Guidelines, product photography, a powerful CGI animation, design of all POS units and packaging materials. This then extended to a digital banner campaign which is due to be rolled out across a variety of partner sites.
